Job Description
1. Lead the South East Asia business
Analyse the direction of the market and our own competitive position, develop business plan for Coatings South east Asia, including focus on our VCP(Value Creation Plan) growth platforms and our participation strategy
Translate the strategic plans into operational action plans to drive financial growth
2. Lead the South East Asia team
Develop and lead the sales team: engage, develop, motivate, provide direction, set targets, provide feedback. Ensure the team delivers on customers, key accounts, distributors and NBO’s
Build competencies in the team to achieve a high performing team with hunters, ability to identify and develop NBO’s and overall margin and profit mazimalization. Ensures Talent is identified, developed and groomed for succession.
3. Identify and deliver on NBOs
Assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
Identifies NBO’s: uncovers and quantifies growth opportunities (and risks) for Elementis products to drive profitable growth for Elementis, together with Marketing, Technical Sales and Technical Service
4 Support Key Accounts
Work according to the GKA framework and processes, cooperate fully with the Director GKA and sales in other regions and share opportunities and issues openly
Understand that the global (long term) strategy could be more important than the regional (short term) interest and always act in the interest of the global key accounts
5. Manage Distributors
Select and manage distributors according to the global framework and guidelines
Establish growth targets and sales plans with and for the distributor and ensure objectives are met
