Via our Finntalc portfolio we offer Finntalc C15B and Finntalc C15B3, two natural barrier pigments which are developed specially for use in water-based barrier coatings. The functional mineral pigments offer barrier properties for grease, oil, water, moisture and oxygen.
Packaging coated with water-based barrier dispersions are an excellent alternative to replace the use of plastic (PE) in food packaging, furthermore water-based barrier coatings also enable recyclable and repulpable packaging materials.
